Our 2nd visit to the Moulin, was every bit as good as the first. As you turn off the main road, you know you are in for a real treat - the feeling of the outskirts of Cravans is precisely what you imagine when you think of 'rural France'. Fields of wheat, meadows of wild flowers and not a white line to be seen on the road! The Moulin is immaculately presented, with tiled floors covering the ground floor - perfect for when the mercury goes over 35 - which it did for us for four days running and it wasn't even June yet! The pool is wonderful, using salt instead of Chlorine, which doesn't smell or sting your eyes. We spent hours in it! We tried the local restaurant (Le 143) in the village for the first time this year and had a delicious two-course lunch for just 14 Euros! We did travel to the coast once and had lunch in a seaside restaurant but, to be honest, with such a beautiful house and swimming pool at our disposal, we haven't really explored a great deal of the area. Have already booked next year!
